I don't believe in resolutions per se, but one of my goals for 2016 is to start blogging regularly again. I'll start with one of the best brunch experience I've had in awhile. Estrella is a gorgeous space situated at the bottom of an office building. Random, yes...but the outdoor area feels anything but office-like. There are comfortable yet chic couches, a fireplace, and just the right amount of greenery.

Ambiance? Check. Service? Impeccable, from the moment we walked in. Food? Delicious. We started with a solid cheese platter, which went perfectly with our prosecco. For my meal, I ordered the now famous (or infamous) Rolling Stone. Estrella's signature brunch dish consists of bacon wrapped avocado, with a baked egg and queso fresco inside. I was prepared to be disappointed, but I was blown away. It was like a flavor explosion. I always say yes to bacon and avocado, and the addition of the perfectly cooked egg and queso fresco...perfection. I will be back for the Rolling Stone. Honorable mention goes to the hangar steak. Estrella also has some stellar baristas. The almond milk latte was delicious--and almost too pretty to drink. Add one more to the brunch rotation!
